Functie-informatie

As a Technical Support Coordinator, you are the first point of contact for clients dealing with malfunctions or technical questions regarding automated systems. You handle incoming support requests via phone or email, assess the issue's urgency and complexity, and either resolve it directly or escalate it to the appropriate specialists.

You’ll collaborate extensively with work preparation, planning, service engineering, and in-house experts in software, electronics, and mechanics. When needed, you’ll liaise with external partners like Siemens, SEW, Caljan, or Interroll to ensure a swift resolution.

Your responsibilities also include accurate documentation in our call-handling system and coordination with the administration department for proper billing. You’ll contribute to ongoing improvement projects within the Lifecycle Performance Services team—making this a multifaceted role with high visibility and impact.

Functie-eisen

You’re a technically skilled communicator with a sharp analytical mindset. You know how to bring structure to complex situations and remain composed under pressure. Your service-oriented attitude ensures that customer needs are always front and center.

You also bring:

  • A MBO+ or HBO level of education in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or industrial engineering.

  • At least three years of experience in a technical service environment, ideally in a complex technical organization.

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written); German is a strong plus.

  • Affinity with automated systems and familiarity with technical documentation and call-handling systems.
